House of Hope has a Youth Leadership program that encourages teens and young adults who have benefited from our programs to look back and give back. Sometimes, HOH children grow up and leave the nest. But many remain to help with the program and to take on some of the responsibilities of running the program.
Junior is one example of this. He came to HOH after losing his mother and home in the 2010 earthquake. He spent nearly five years with us and has become a true leader. He is here, willing to help out in any way he can. The younger children look up to him as an example of what can be accomplished here. Junior is a success story that inspires our younger children to have hope that life will indeed become better.
