About Your Donation
Your donation is tax-deductible
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the state of Florida (tax id #61-1689587). Your donations to us are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please check with your tax advisor regarding your specific tax situation.
Almost 100% of your donations go to those in need
We are a volunteer organization with almost no overhead. Our volunteers pay their own travel expenses to Haiti. We have no paid staff. That means nearly all of your donations go directly to those you want to help – House of Hope, Beraca Medical Center, and the poor of Port-de-Paix.
Your donations really do make a difference… we succeed in Haiti
Most organizations fail in Haiti because they do not understand the local environment. They do not know how to get help to those who need it most. We have strong ties to Haiti and know how to circumvent the problems that cause other organizations to fall short of their goals.
About donating to a specific program
If you wish to be a major benefactor for a specific program or project, please click here for more information. We also honor the wishes of our supporters who prefer to contribute to a specific category of need, such as shipping. Please contact us if you would like to designate your donation.
