Friends of Humanity works closely with House of Hope, La Pointe to care for those children most in need. House of Hope provides a home for children who are ill, disabled, abandoned, or without relatives who can care for them. We care 90 children at any one time, many of whom are also patients at Beraca Medical Center.

We would also like to recognize Ms. Madana, who contributes hundreds of pounds of food each month to feed the children of House of Hope. Without her, many children would go hungry.

We are extremely grateful for the donation of brand new commercial washers and dryers from a laundromat owner. This donation means laundry for the hospital and orphanage no longer has to be done by hand.
